Went here for birthday cake and drinks, you are spoilt for choice with the cakes, they all looked amazing 👏. Managed to get seated outside watching the sun and the sea. Very busy mid morning. Great place with great atmosphere.

Love this place views food and staff amazing, was disappointed tonight hence why , was still busy but owners in front of customers took all staff outside onto the balcony to point out instructions wot to do , next minute staff outside with brushes n pans sweepin up , I’m sorry if i ran this place with amazing service your staff do I wouldn’t be nit picking in front of customers to sweep up , I’d be mucking In , u need to respect the quality of staff you have n start owning your business rather than rock up with silly Wolly hat on n realise your staff do amazingly without you If this is wrongly interpreted I apologise it’s just how a paying customer seen it which is more important I think

Two of us stopped off for lunch after a walk along the beach with the dog Dog friendly plenty of seating out side. Order inside food bought out to you. Ordered the lobster spring rolls which were lovely and fresh. The gluten free cheese and ham sandwich filling was nice ,bread dry and stale hard to swallow. And the loaded fajita fries came out looking like someone had thrown up. alfull, sauce was runnie and tasteless And the tea was week and tasteless Will not be returning. Which is a shame has it's in a lovely location with a sea view.

Lovely cafe with plenty of nearby parking out of season. Lots of different cakes and Cheesecakes and scones to choose from! The staff are so lovely and friendly, have already been twice in a week because we enjoyed it on my birthday

Lovely little restaurant out of the hustle and bustle of Skegness, in a place called winthorpe. Food was served within 10 minutes of ordering, and a lovely well presented breakfast it was. Nice, ambience and setting by the sea. Will come again definitely

Cold in there .food was not nice and it was cold could not eat much as chicken was not nice and cold.would not recommended the veiw very let down toilets flooded .

My partner and I have been wanting to come here for a long time. Just outside of Skegness, it’s such a contrast to the neon seaside town of a stone’s throw away. The car park is large and free for customers. The place looks classy, clean and with a good selection of food that all looks and sounds delicious. It was the service that let this place down. They weren’t able to substitute a meat item on a platter for something vegetarian - I get that. But they messed up the tuna and cheese sandwich. We mentioned it, it was taken away to sort and then just came back again with a pot of cheese on the side with the explanation from chef as ‘it must have been put through wrong’, despite the receipt saying otherwise. That said, the man at the till was completely miserable, along with most of the staff (one nice young lad aside). A shame as wanted this place to be a regular treat out.

Review of The View Cafe Bar, Skegness (04/01/25) The View near Skegness is a lovely spot, especially during the sunmmer and festive season. The Grinch Christmas tree was fantastic, and the seasonal decorations added a delightful touch. While the outdoor seating area is perfect for summer, today's weather called for a cozy warm indoor experience. We did enjoy a brisk beach walk, which is easily accessible from The View. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea options. Afternoon tea requires advance booking. The food is always good value for money. However,my personal view the multi-colored menus/book can be a bit overwhelming and distracting from the actual food and drink offerings. Today, I opted for a simple grated cheese, tomato, and onion sandwich on brown bread. It was absolutely delicious and came with a refreshing side salad. I wish I had added a portion of chips to complete the meal. I also couldn't resist trying one of their strawberry cream scones. While a bit dry, they were still enjoyable. My partner's food and Christmas cookie were also very well-received.

Another excellent lunch at The View. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Do visit if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed .
